Since 1988 I've officiated football games at the high school level. Eventually I entered NCAA college level as a referee. There's an important reason why I bring this experience to your attention. As an on-field official, I see 22 fast-moving parts operating at different speeds in various directions. It's my job to make sense of it all and apply logic and knowledge of the fundamental rules and philosophies. I bring the same keen eye and awareness to my coaching.

The Story & Experience of Mark Mesnick
I'm a United States Army veteran, and when I returned home from serving in Germany in 1978, I started a company called Nouveau Fine Furniture, Antiques & Architectural Restoration. More than four decades later, I remain at the helm of that successful business.
Since 1988 I've officiated football games at the high school and college level. There's an important reason why I bring this experience to your attention. As an on-field and supervising official, I see 22 fast- moving parts operating at different speeds in various directions. It's my job to make sense of it all and apply logic and knowledge of the fundamental rules and guidelines.

I started NOUVEAU ANTIQUES, FINE FURNITURE & ARCHITECTURE RESTORATION in 1978 on a hope and a dream. Nothing more. No customers. No business experience. No budget. No business plan. No marketing plan to speak of. Just a 3-sentence ad in the local Pennysaver. I learned by experience from year to year.
Jump to 38 years later, I decided to retain the services of a business consultant. It was the smartest decision I ever made. Four years later I was able to comfortably retire.

Joined Long Island Assoc. of Football Officials & began officiating high school football
1998
Joined the Eastern Association of Intercollegiate Footbal Officials
1998
Became a member of the prestigious Eastern College Athletic Conference
2019
Created American College Football Officials Association (ACFOA) and became the Supervisor of Officials. We assign certified NCAA college football officials for highly competitive junior college programs from mid-Atlantic states into the Northeast
2020
Became primary assignor (for all sports) for Army Prep athletics in West Point, as well as Army JV program
